The series isn't innovative, it's a flipping 2D platform game! The character doesn't even have so much as a signature move.

The PSP one was more of the same crap - although I'd hasten to add it's not a port of the PS3 game, as you'd know if you played it.

I agree - no-one ever talked about Mario being "milked" in the past for the simple reason that the games were always high quality, and they still are.

It's in the light of certain modern series getting substandard yearly iterations that people are now WRONGLY applying the term to excellent games as well.
